Sculptures Using Fiberglass and Resins

Sculptures made from fiberglass and resins have several advantages over those made from wood, bronze or other materials.
  • The finished products are fairly lightweight, durable material that can be painted and glazed to look like stone, porcelain, bronze or marble. 
     
  • It is also cheaper compared to other materials makes it desirable when the artist wants to make a multiple copies of art works. 

  • They have a greater strength than some of the other materials that can be cast. And, the resin statues are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. 

  • Sculptures can be created to mimic the look of ancient stone, marble, bronze, or porcelain sculptures. 

Making a fiberglass sculpture is a time-consuming task, but it is a great way to create lightweight, long-lasting works of art.
