Having fiberglass doors offers handful
of advantages over wooden and steel doors.
- This material is durable and can withstand changing weather conditions from coldest weather of the arctic region to the warmest weather of the tropical region.
- Unlike wood that shrinks during warm/hot season or expand during cold/rainy season, and steel which in time can rust, or dent or warp for both materials.
- Using fiberglass doors can be energy saving since this can be installed with polyurethane foam which offers more energy efficiency.
- Aside from the energy efficiency it offers, fiberglass doors also render less maintenance.
-
It is also Eco-friendly because the more houses that use fiberglass, the lesser the use of wooden doors and the lesser the trees to be cut to produce these wooden doors.
- Though initial investment of fiberglass doors are of higher value, with great savings it offers in the long run, it pays for itself.

The door in the second picture would look fabulous in my home. Right now, I have an old wooden door that is falling apart. I think I am going to make the switch to fiberglass. It can give me the durability I want without sacrificing appearance.
